Millions of renters pay their rent every month, but these payments don't automatically appear in their credit file. Our mission is to enable renters to have their eligible rent payments recognized, so they can contribute to building their credit history.
The problem
Unlike homeowners who see their mortgage payments contribute to their credit score, renters don't automatically get recognition for their rent payments. This means years of regular, on-time payments don't necessarily contribute to their credit score.
LocaCredit's role
LocaCredit acts as an intermediary between the renter and the credit file reporting process. The renter uploads their proof of payment, LocaCredit validates the information, and eligible payments may be reported to your credit file.
